I have to admit, I went to this movie only becasue I used to be babysitting. I didnrrrt want to see it in any respect; I am 15.After i saw this movie I laughed so desperately I cried. It was better than every other movie I saw this coming year, and I saw a great deal of movies (Twilight, The Proposal, etc.). Get this movie, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. The trailer doesn't undertake it much justice. Um...this version doesn't differ much with the movie with the exception of explict content...very explict, but personally i think that the original rated american pie was better. American Pie band camp was not good...though the others were ok. The first one, though, was hilarious...tee hee ^^ I saw "The Final" @ the 2011 Horrorfest 4 this year!!! This was definitely a sleeper hit. For anyone who've experienced bullying, social categorization (in/out group bias etc.), & those annoying uppedy, judgeamental stupid cliques worked negative feelings in school, then this would be the film available for you.Definitely a cult classic. I have no idea why I became surprised at how bad this movie is. I guess I thought it will be weird enough being good, but it isn't. Acting is fairly good by all actors. And there is a good use of music and several clever costumes. Unfortunately that does not make up for this overly ambitious flat flop. The lights is absurd. The script is unrelentingly horrible. Yes, you will find a requisite crazy guy who insists he knows the secret someone's, but the problem is, he offers nothing, not even a philosophy. It appears this entire 95 minute rant approximately this disturbed guys angst, and that is all to expect. There is nothing real or life changing or even slightly enlightening taking place here. It's like watching somebody heave bucket after bucket of paint onto a canvas are available out with a multitude of mud. You retain hoping there's a brilliant painting or hint of design or perhaps an artistic aspiration inside mess, but there's not. There are no wisps of figures or ideas or politics or cosmology. It's just some over indulged angst and rant, along with a poorly written rant at that. A waste of time and talent. Many men and women don't understand that it film is satire. After all, come on people, the show is called Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter! I have found it form of sad that people are dumb enough now adays to essentially think it is a serious film. Is it like the book? Well, no. Nevertheless this is probably for the better. This isn't to say which the book was bad, no, it was actually fantastic. However, it turned out written in the appearance of a text book, as well as the only real strategy to tackle it had been to take the Oliver Stone approach, taking ideas through the facts, and adding fiction (or in this case adding new fiction appon preestablished fiction) so it will be work better for filmThe film is overall really quick paced and extremely entertaining, what you'd expect from your title with the film. It acomplishes exactly what tries to, and incredibly well, during that. Any considering watching it will probably want it if they can seperate it through the source material.
